Men’s Soccer Gets Shut Out by Lasell 

NEWTON, Mass. - The Albertus Magnus Men's Soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss to Lasell University in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) play on Wednesday afternoon.

Patrick Cavalieri (Shelton, Conn.) appeared for the first time this season in goal, making four saves on six shots.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • After going scoreless in the first half, the Lasers jumped in front 1-0 following an unassisted goal from Daniel Faynstein at the 53 minute mark.
  • Lasell scored again at 64:28 to put them up 2-0 on a goal from Owen O'Brien.
