2012-13 GNAC All-Academic Team Announced
June 10, 2013The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced the All-Academic Team for the 2012-13 school year. Thirty-six student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 757 members of the Academic Team from 13 full-time institutions and 12 affiliate member institutions in the conference. The student-athletes selected had to meet the following criteria: maintain a 3.25 cumulative grade point average, complete at least one full season of competition at a GNAC institution and is of sophomore status academically. -

Falcons Earn GNAC Weekly Honors in Cross Country
October 23, 2012Albertus Magnus junior John Snow (Cheshire, Conn.) and freshman Ben Spilka (Redding, Conn.) both earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly honors as announced Monday by the league office. Snow was tagged as the GNAC Runner of the Week, while Spilka was named the league’s Rookie of the Week. -

Men's Cross Country Competes at Westfield State
October 06, 2012The Albertus Magnus men’s cross country team took 39th place at the 17th James Early Invitational at Stanley Park in Westfield, Mass. The Falcons were led by Glenn Johnson who was the team’s top finisher in a time of 34:50.50. -
Men's Cross Country Competes at Mitchell
September 14, 2012The Albertus Magnus men’s cross country team took third place at Mitchell College on Friday evening at the 2012 Mitchell Invitational. John Snow finished in fourth place for the Falcons. -
Cross Country Finishes Purchase Invitational despite Rain and Tornado Warnings
September 08, 2012Despite the heavy rains and tornado warnings, the Fifth Annual Purchase College Invitational went on as scheduled as both the Albertus Magnus men’s and women’s cross country teams finished in sixth place. The Falcons’ men’s team tallied 145 points, while the women’s team finished with 236 in their first race of the 2012 season. -
Christina (Quirk) Mitaly Promoted to Head Athletic Trainer
