- The Falcons imposed their will early in the first quarter. After trailing 4-2 in the opening moments of the game, White and Scott made consecutive baskets to go up, 6-4. After a layup by Rivier's Gianna Donato, the Falcons hit three consecutive threes to go up, 15-6. The first came from White, followed by a three in transition from Murray-Leach. After a miss on the other end by the Raiders, Zdru buried a three off an assist from Scott to give Albertus the nine-point advantage. Johnson scored the last four points for Albertus in the first quarter as it took a 21-14 lead heading into the second.
- Rivier cut its deficit to 23-19 under two minutes into the second quarter after a three from Jessica Carrier. On the ensuing possession, Scott made a circus reverse layup and was fouled. She made the free throw to put Albertus back up, 26-19. After a miss from Carrier on the other end, Scott answered with a three and then hit a jumper after a Rivier turnover to put the Falcons up, 31-19.
- With Albertus up, 31-21, Scott once again made a reverse layup to make it a 12-point lead. After a miss by Rivier's Alexa Dufries, Murray-Leach hit a jumper to put Albertus ahead 35-21. The Falcons took a 40-29 lead into halftime.
- Scott scored the first three points in the second half and Murray-Leach and White made baskets early on as Albertus upped its lead to 47-34 with 7:31 left.
- A layup from Scott gave Albertus its biggest lead of the game at 49-34, but a 9-2 run from Rivier made it a 51-43 Albertus lead. Lyric Grumblatt, who recently became the GNAC's all-time leading scorer, scored five points during the run.
- Albertus got baskets from Scott and Zdru in the final 90 seconds as the Falcons took a 57-43 lead into the final quarter.
- White hit a three and Johnson made a layup to maintain the large 62-47 lead for the Falcons early in the fourth.
- Rivier finally got the game within single digits, albeit briefly after a layup from Grumblatt made it a 70-62 game with 1:25 left, but a layup from Murray-Leach effectively put the game away.
