    The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has announced its All-Academic Team for the 2014-15 school year. This year, 48 student-athletes from Albertus Magnus College were among the 822 members of the Academic Team from 12 full-time institutions and 10 associate member institutions in the conference.

    The Albertus Magnus men’s volleyball team honored its two seniors, Glenn Johnson (Newington, Conn.) and Daniel Valmont (Orange, N.J.) prior to tonight’s Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) match featuring the Falcons and the Lasell College Lasers. Lasell won the match by a score of 3-0 (25-,15, 25-13, 25-21).

    The Albertus Magnus men's volleyball team picked up its second Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) victory on Saturday with a 3-1 win over Mount Ida College in New Haven. Albertus won the opening set 25-22 before being edged in the second set by a score of 25-23. All four sets were close as Albertus finished out the match with set-victories of 26-24 and 25-22.

    The Albertus Magnus men’s volleyball team fell to Newbury College 3-0 on Monday night to fall to 1-5 on the year. The Falcons fell in the opening set 25-20 and then fell in the second set 25-21. In the final set, Newbury controlled the match-up, winning 25-12.
  • CCNY Defeats Falcons 3-1 in Men’s Volleyball

    Despite 16 kills Glenn Johnson (Newington, Conn.), the Albertus Magnus men’s volleyball team fell to CCNY 3-1 in non-conference action on Friday night. After winning the opening set 25-21, the Beavers battled back to take set number two 25-19. In the third set, the Beavers edged the Falcons 25-23 before winning the final set 25-17.
