Albertus Cruises to 4-0 Win Over Rivier College

New Haven, CT- The Albertus Magnus College Men's Soccer Team cruised to a 4-0 win over visiting Rivier College on Monday afternoon.  The Falcons lead 3-0 at the half and would add another goal early in the second half to result in a 4-0 final score.  Senior goalkeeper Gerald O'Connor (Hamden, CT) had nine saves in the shut-out.  The Falcons received goals from sophomores Jamal Howard (West Haven, CT) and Kyle Kelly (Stratford, CT) as well as goals from freshman James Luchessi (Norwalk, CT) and Alphonse Buccitti (West Haven, CT).  Albertus Magnus College improves to 7-5-1, 3-3 GNAC while Rivier College drops to 1-10-0, 0-5-0 GNAC.  Albertus Magnus College hosts Coast Guard Academy on Wednesday with a 3:30pm kick-off.
