Jamal Howard (West Haven, Conn.) and Lindsley Barrett (Shelton, Conn.) both scored as the Albertus Magnus men's soccer team earned its ninth-straight victory with a 2-0 win over Emerson on Saturday afternoon.
Howard tallied the game-winning goal in the opening half before Barrett extended the Falcons' lead to 2-0 in the 32nd minute.

In the 10th minute of play, Howard scored the Falcons' first goal of the contest as he finished off a corner kick in the box. Hamasian redirected the ball to the near post where Howard beat the keeper for his team-leading ninth goal of the season.
Zapata now has 12 assists on the year, a team best.
Barrett scored his seventh goal of the season as he broke by two defenders and shot the ball into the back of the net. Howard sent the ball into the box to Barrett, for the senior's third assist of the year.
