Albertus Magnus freshman Lindsley Barrett (Shelton, Conn.) has been named the GNAC Men's Soccer Player of the Week as announced Monday evening by the conference office.

Barrett led the Falcons to a 2-1 win in their GNAC opener on the road at 2010 defending champion Suffolk. Barrett scored both the tying and game-winning goals in Albertus' second win of the season.

The rookie's first goal tied the game at one in the opening half before he connected for an unassisted goal in the 75th minute, which was the eventual game winner. He now has two goals on the year.

Barrett and the Falcons return to the field on Saturday, Sept. 17 as they head to Maine to take on Saint Joseph's College in a 1:00 p.m. conference match-up.
