New Haven, CT - The Albertus Magnus College Men's Volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 25-12) decision to visiting and Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opponent Mount Ida College on Tuesday night.

The Falcons battled tough the first two games but ultimately couldn't overcome their conference opponents.

Freshman outside hitter Douglas DeSousa (Danbury, CT/Danbury) led the way for the Falcons with 11 kills and eight digs.  Senior setter David Teodosio (Guilford, CT/Notre Dame) had 15 assists, five kills, and team high 10 digs.  Freshman outside hitter Chris Pfeffer (Torrington, CT/Wolcott Tech) chipped in five kills.

Albertus drops to 1-12, 0-6 GNAC while Mount Ida College improves to 6-11, 2-7 GNAC.

The Falcons travel to Providence, RI on Saturday March 12th when they take on GNAC opponents Johnson and Wales University and Emerson College.
