Albertus Magnus women's basketball sophomore Lianna Carrero (Hamden, Conn.) has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Weekly Honor Roll as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

In the lone Albertus contest of the week, Carrero scored a team-best 22 points and grabbed six rebounds in the Falcons' 83-69 victory at Newbury. The Hamden native shot 9-of-15 from the floor for the Falcons as they won their fifth contest of the year.

Carrero and the Falcons will return to action on Saturday, Dec. 10 as they host Rivier to open conference play. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
