Falcons Win Fourth Straight Over Lasell 91-82
New Haven, CT- On Saturday afternoon, The Albertus Magnus College Men's Basketball soared to their fourth win in a row over visiting Lasell College. The game was close in the first half with the Falcons trailing 41-38 at halftime. The Falcons went on a 10-0 run with 9:03 remaining in the second half taking a 78-66 lead with six minutes remaining in the game. Albertus received a balanced scoring attack with four starters in double figures. Sophomore forward Ray Askew (Hamden, CT) led the way with a game high 29 points and 14 rebounds. Sophomore guard Byron Reaves added 23 points while junior guard Walden St. Juste (Hartford, CT) added 17 points and six steals for the Falcons. Lasell also featured a balanced scoring attack with four players in double figures and was lead by sophomore forward Javon Williams (Mattapan, MA) and his team high 20 points. Albertus improves to 5-1, 1-0 GNAC on the season while Lasell drops to 1-4, 0-1 GNAC. The Falcons hope to make five straight wins on Saturday against GNAC opponent Emmanuel College in Boston, MA at 1:00pm.
