Albertus Magnus men's basketball senior Ray Askew (Hamden, Conn.) has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) weekly honor roll as announced by the league on Tuesday night.

Askew scored 40 points against a highly competitive Coast Guard program in the Falcons' season opener on Nov. 15. The senior connected for the Falcons' first 10 points as they began the contest with a 10-3 run.

Askew, who was ranked fourth in the nation last season with 21 double-doubles, began where he left off a year ago, and recorded a double-double in the season opener.

The Falcons will host York (N.Y.) on Sunday, Nov. 27 in a 1:00 p.m. non-conference match-up before heading to Mitchell College to take on the Mariners at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
