Albertus Magnus men's and women's basketball coaches Mitch Oliver and Steve Schuler participated in the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce Sports Council's Courtside Chat at Wicked Wolf in New Haven, Conn. on Wednesday. Oliver and Schuler took the stage at the third-annual event along with coaches from Southern Connecticut State University, University of New Haven, Quinnipiac and Yale. The event emcee was Sean Barker, the sports editor of the New Haven Register.

Each coach was able to speak about their respective teams before a question-and-answer session with members of the community.

Both Albertus Magnus basketball programs will begin the 2011-12 regular season on Tuesday, Nov. 15 with home contests. The Falcons' women's basketball team will host Mitchell College at 5:00 p.m. in the Cosgrove Marcus Messer Athletic Center. The men's basketball team will then face Coast Guard following the women's game. That contest is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
