  • Sudusky named Head Men's & Women's Cross Country Coach, Sgrigneri named Assistant Coach

    Albertus Magnus College Director of Athletics Michael Spinner has announced a reorganization for the college's Men's and Women's Cross Country programs. Beginning with the 2011 Cross Country season, the programs' coaching positions will be combined.

    New Haven, CT - Albertus Magnus College Director of Athletics Michael Spinner has announced the hiring of Dan Sgrigneri as Head Men's Cross Country Coach. Sgrigneri, who currently works as a teacher at Hamden Middle School, is an avid runner with a passion for the sport of Cross Country.

    Standish, ME - The Albertus Magnus College Men's Cross-Country team was led by sophomore James Economopoulos (Wallingford, CT/Lyman Hall) who was the top finisher for the Falcons on Saturday afternoon. Albertus finished the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships in 10th place.

    Waterbury, CT - The Albertus Magnus College Men's Cross-Country Team finished in 3rd place at the Post University Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Kevin Rogers (Bridgeport, CT/O'Brien Tech) and freshman Heath Henderson (Bridgeport, CT/Harding) finished 10th and 11th respectively. The 10th place finish marked a personal best for Rogers.

    Waterbury, CT - The Albertus Magnus College Men's Cross Country team finished in third place at the Post University Invitational Race on Wednesday afternoon. Freshman Heath Henderson (Bridgeport, CT) finished in 10th place and was followed by junior Byron Reaves (Hamden, CT).

    Waterford, CT - The Albertus Magnus College Men's Cross Country Team finsihed in fourth place at the Mitchell College Cross Country Race. Freshman Heath Henderson (Bridgeport, CT) and sophomore Joe Santilli (Trumbull, CT) finished in the top twenty runners for the Falcons.

    The Albertus Magnus College Athletic Department is proud to announce the release of the 2010 Men's and Women's Cross-Country Schedules. The Cross-Country season starts on Friday September 17 for both programs in New London, CT at the Mitchell College Invitational.

    Waterbury, CT - Sophomore Heath Henderson (Bridgeport, CT/Harding) finished with a personal best time leading the Albertus Magnus College Men's Cross Country team to a third place finish on Wednesday afternoon.
